This training program enables participants to learn and apply the procedures for entering and monitoring confined spaces.
It provides the necessary knowledge to enable participants to perform the preparatory tasks: securing the site, setting up safety controls, inspecting and properly using the equipment, and working safely.
Program Objectives
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Understand the requirements of the regulations governing confined spaces;
- Understand and follow the procedures to be carried out before, during, and after entering a confined space;
- Distinguish between the roles and responsibilities of the various stakeholders;
- Recognize and identify confined spaces in the workplace;
- Identify the main risks associated with entering confined spaces;
- Identify appropriate preventive measures;
- Manage confined spaces effectively;
- Identify protective equipment;
- Implement emergency measures, if necessary.
